Kentucky - 1800 feet
The strip of land along the southeastern state border has been reduced to about 400 square miles of islands. Pineville, Middlesboro, Whitesburg and Elkhorn are now underwater.

NOTE: The highest tsunami recorded was 1720 feet in Lituya Bay, Alaska.
