Michigan
- Current Level to 600 feet
Being
far enough away from the Atlantic Ocean, Michigan is much less susceptible
to tidal surges or massive flooding. If there were to be a tidal surge
from the Atlantic in Canada or slow sea level rise that made its way into
the Great Lakes, Michigan would start to be majorly affected at about
1000 feet of sea level rise. Once that mark was hit and since Michigan
is fairly flat, water would spread rapidly throughout the state.
