large peninsulas are all that remains of the state split by the North
Platte River. The lower peninsula contains the areas of Kimball, Dix and
Potter. The upper peninsula is made up of the lower fringes of the Fort
Robinson State Park and the Harrison area. The highest point in Newbraska
is Kimball Couny at 5,424 feet above sea level.
