The eastern border of the state would now be inundated with the convergence of the major rivers entering the state such as the Kansas, Neosho and Cygnes. This would flood the state capital of Topeka as well as the cities of Overland Park and Olathe. The Kansas River will also push out of its banks through Manhattan and up through Abilene.
