New York - 3,000 feet
At 3,000 feet, Lake Placid, high in the Adirondacks has been flooded by salt water. Mount Marcy is New York’s highest elevation at 5,344 feet above sea level. It is one of a handful of mountain peaks still visible in the Adirondacks and all of New York.
