The
highest tsunami recorded was 1720 feet in Lituya Bay, Alaska. At this
level, the state would have two large island chains down the center. The
smaller chain would start at Canaan and run south to Thetford. The larger
of the two would start west of Newport and run Camels Hump, Rutland City
Forest and down through the Green Mountain National Forest.
