Minnesota
- Current Level to 600 feet
Being
far enough away from the Atlantic Ocean, Minnesota is much less susceptible
to tidal surges or massive flooding. If there was a slow sea level rise
that made its way up the Mississippi River, Minnesota would start to be
affected at about 600 feet of sea level rise. If Canada experiences a
tidal surge large enough from the Atlantic or again, if there was a slow
sea level rise, the Great Lakes would be severely impacting the state
around the 700 foot mark.
