South Dakota - Current Level to 600 feet
Being far enough away from any coast, South Dakota is not as susceptible to tidal surges or massive coastal flooding. If there was a slow sea level rise that allowed water to make its way up the Riverways, South Dakota would start to be affected at about 1100 feet of sea level rise as water made its way up the Missouri and Red Rivers on the states eastern border.
